This analysis delves into the influential profile of Central Valley Latina voters, highlighting their economic status, professional roles, household dynamics, and the composition of the citizen voting age population (CVAP), along with gender-based voting disparities.

The profile of a Central Valley Latina is categorized as someone who is:

  • Early 30s and likely speaks English at home
  • Works in education, legal, community service, arts, and media occupations
  • ~42% chance to be married with a ~53% more likely to be married if she has children

In terms of income distributions, more Latina women make up more of the workforce for lower-income jobs than White men. As the income threshold increases, White men become more dominant in the workforce as Latina numbers decline.

Central Valley Latinas has seen significant increases in educational attainment from 2012 to 2021 across all grades except for those who receive education less than 9th grade. The most notable increase in numbers are Latinas who graduated high school.
